All-inclusive resorts sometimes get a bad rep, but we’re here to dispel any false rumors you may have heard about them and let you know why you should book that all-inclusive trip!
Myth #1: The food at all-inclusive resorts is terrible.
We had to put this at the top of our list of myths to debunk because it is so untrue! Many all-inclusive resorts have world-renowned chefs and top-of-the-line kitchen staff cooking up some of the most delicious meals you’ll ever have. Grab a gourmet burger and fries from the Barefoot Grill in Breathless Cabo or head to Olio at Secrets the Vine Cancun for a romantic Mediterranean dinner. The options are endless!
Myth #2: All-inclusive resorts are the lazy traveler’s option.
While all-inclusive resorts do serve as the perfect option for a lazy vacation consisting of sunbathing on the beach or floating in the pool with a drink in hand, they also provide numerous options for curious adventurers! For example, Cozumel Palace includes non-motorized water activities, such as paddle boarding and snorkeling, in its all-inclusive price. Just do your research to check which resorts include what in their all-inclusive price.
Myth #3: Unlimited drinks at all-inclusive resorts means reckless drunks all around.
Some resorts are popular amongst rowdy spring breakers, but there are many other options that are geared towards families, couples, and more mature guests in general who are better able to handle their liquor.
Myth #4: You won’t get a personalized experience at an all-inclusive resort.
Although all-inclusive resorts provide the same services and amenities to all their guests, hotel staff at many quality resorts go out of their way to provide a personalized experience to all of their guests. They care and they want to make your vacation special!
Myth #5: All-inclusive resorts are not worth the money.
All-inclusive resorts are the perfect option for travelers who don’t want to worry about every little transaction during their vacation and don’t want to run the risk of losing their wallet in a foreign country. Peace of mind is worth every penny!
